Deidre A. Haley, Dancer and Judge
Deidre Haley, owner and director of AllStar Dance Academy, brings her expertise of her old school Cabaret to the judging panel of the Best of 2019. Deidre grew up in her family owned dance studio---the Mike Haley Dance Center, studying Ballet, Tap, and Jazz under Miss Lana Kroth, Miss Connie Espinosa, and Miss Jana Streigle. After many years of studio dance training and competitions, Deidre went on the study dance and education at the University of New Mexico under then director Bill Evans. During her studies at UNM, Deidre was also the manager and head teacher at the Mike Haley Dance Center West Side.
Kitana Michele Kyng, Competitor
Kitana is a member of the Dove and Lily and recently became your Miss NM Gay United States At-Large. She has a knack for dancing, singing, and playing the flute. This is her second year competing in the Best of annual Awards, Honors, and Competition.
Michael Estacio-Burdick, Co-Owner Sidewinders Ranch - Judge
Michael grew up in Hamburg, Iowa and is co-Owner of Sidewinders; in his spare time, he helps produce shows with the Southwest Arts Group. He has over 20 years of management level experience across various industries. His experience includes Interim General Manager and Director of Marketing for San Felipe's Casino Hollywood, Director of Marketing and Database Marketing for Santa Ana Star Casino, Sr. Marketing Operations Manager for PRIMEDIA Enthusiast Publication, and Operations Manager and Executive Account Manager for Palm Coast Data. He is also a recipient of the Cumbre Public Relations Awards; Best of Show for New Mexico Open, Gold Award Relationship Management, and Silver for Branding Campaign; New Mexico American Marketing Association Marketer of the Year Award, best multi-media branding campaign (company received); Barona/VCAT Marketing Excellence Award - Branding and Multi-channel Marketing; and over 25 Romero Casino Marketing Awards - "Large Casino" - in Promotional, Multi-Media, E-Marketing, and Public Relations. Michael is based out of Albuquerque New Mexico.
Narcisca Vanity, Drag Queen, Judge
Miss New Mexico Pride Youth 2017 and OUTstanding Youth Entertainer 2016, Narcisca Vanity was Albuquerque’s original youth queen phenomenon. Now all grown up, she’s taking over Chicago with her multifaceted talents. However in 2017 tragedy struck, and the old Narcisca Vanity New Mexico knew has died. Alas, a demon has returned in her body to take her place. Once a queen of musical theatre and sickening dance numbers, she’s now an aggressive, monstrous metal performer ready to scream her way to the top of the metal charts. She may still display her versatility outside of the metal genre, but she’ll always be an undead monster ready to take over and unite the drag and metal worlds. Make sure to catch the Haus of Vanity‘s family reunion Christmas show on December 22 to see the metal unleashed.
Hasani Olujimi, Singer, Actor, and Judge
Hasani Olujimi, Singer and Actor, is a U.S. Navy Veteran and a local actor and entertainer right here in Albuquerque. Some of his treasured roles on the theater stage are Donkey in “Shrek”, Sebastian in “The Little Mermaid” and Horse in “The Full Monty” - a performance that won him the coveted Vivian Vance Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a musical. Theater is not what he does, it's who he is. If you can’t find Hasani around town, just pull out your telescope and look amongst the stars - you are sure to find him there!
Stacia Vu, Competitor
Stacia Vu has been a local performer for two years with a wide variation of performance types that include circus, dance, comedy, acting, music, and modeling. She is the main other half in the band Tatted Grandams, your Queen of Mardi Gras 2019, the producer for Arthaus Burlesque, and can do a whole 5 pushups before giving up to take a nap.

Avery Taureaux, Dancer, Female Impersonator, and Judge
Avery Taureaux is the definition of Black Girl Magic. A performer at a young age, she found her calling through the art of Drag, debuting early 2018. She is a resident member of Blackout ABQ, your “Best of 2018” 3rd place winner, and the producer of many ‘Taureaux Variety Shows’ taken place at Sidewinders Ranch. Avery has shared her talents across the nation performing in Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, California, and locally here in New Mexico. Her next produced event is CANDYLAND on Saturday, January 11, 2020!
Mayo Lua de Frenchie, Burlesque Artist, Judge
Mayo has been killing the burlesque game since 2012 with a background in several traditional dance and martial arts genres. She's won multiple awards for her efforts and is a Goddess in Egypt Blaque Knyle's "The House of Knyle." Mayo has produced 4 recurring burlesque shows and has choreographed for performers across the country. Hailing from Albuquerque, NM, she is known as the “Fairy of Fuckery” and "the bitch so fancy she could be aioli."

Frank Farinaro, Belly Dancer, Judge
Frank Farinaro is an award winning dance performer and instructor. Since 2006 he has spanned studios and stages, to share his art with the world. To date, Frank has taught/performed across 18 US States as well as Israel, Colombia, Mexico, and Russia. Outside of goods l his solo-work, Frank has performed with musical artists Black Pegasus, Beats Antique, and Glitch Mob, as well as the dance companies of Desert Darlings in New Mexico, and Bellydance Evolution in California. He is honored to share his passion with you.
Renato Estacio-Burdick, MBA, MMus. - Head Judge
Renato Estacio-Burdick, Bass-Baritone, is the Artistic Director of the Black Cat Cabaret and has been active for 30+ years in productions to include one-acts, musicals, revues, operas, operettas, theater; Estacio has also been an entertainer in singing, acting, radio, and voice-over narrator, as well as show host for over 25 years. As Artistic Director, Estacio-Burdick is focused primarily on guiding artistic excellence, artistic growth, leadership development, and community engagement. Estacio-Burdick also serves as a Commissioner of Music for New Mexico, where they assist in the preservation of music in New Mexico, and was Founder and District Director for the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions for New Mexico during the 2015 and 2016 MONC auditions.
Estacio-Burdick will be a guest judge for the NM State Fair Karaoke Competition, as well as the NM Thespian Festival 2020. Estacio was President of the Southwest Arts Group from 2013 – 2016 (holding a residency at the African American Performing Arts Center), and Director of Marketing/PR for the Las Vegas Philharmonic. Renato was a professional casino entertainer, hosting shows and performing on stage in Broadway and Holiday Show Revues. Other stage credits include Masetto (Don Giovanni), Spirit 3 (Magic Flute), Marco (Gianni Schicchi), Player 4 (If Men Played Cards as Women Do), Gentleman Starkey (Peter Pan), Cowardly Lion (Wizard of Oz), Tin Woodsman (Wizard of Oz), Guardian of the Gates (Wizard of Oz), Brian Furman (Christmas Recaptured), Sir Despard Murgatroyd (Ruddigore), Luis (Gondoliers), Boysy Dunbar (War on Tatem), Epimetheus (Prometheus), Teddy (Rhiannon’s Diary), and other roles. Estacio conducts the choir “The Cat’s Meow” and has taught voice for 17 years.
Estacio-Burdick took courses in acting at the Acting Studio (NY), and voice, movement, and acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in Residence). In high school, Renato was recipient of the Mark Hamill Fine Arts Award, and several awards for his performances in pantomime, and one-act plays. They hold advance degrees in music (performance) and business marketing.

My unique style is a sensual expression of self confidence, meant to inspire, delight, and enrapture. I have been performing for over a year in more than two dozen shows. A dancer, costumer, and choreographer I enjoy all aspects of burlesque as it provides a creative challenge like no other!
Lilith Stargazer, Burlesque, Competitor
Lilith Stargazer is once again honored to be competing in the Best Of Competition at Sidewinders! She has been doing burlesque for the last four years and has been singing for the last twelve years. Lilith is currently studying astrophysics at the University of New Mexico and has had to balance performing with school but is ready to rock them both in 2019! She is a member of the Dove and Lily Court.
Rock Ard, Competitor
Although only performing drag for just over a year, Rock Ard has been a favorite act 2 years in a row at the Duke City Roller Derby Drag show fundraiser. Rock also performed at last year's "A Queer XXX-Mas" presented by The Alibi, so this year's "Best of 2018" show will be their second time as a guest performer at Sidewinder's Ranch.
Brian Pacheco, Belly Dancing, Competitor
Brian quickly became hooked on Middle Eastern dance after taking his first official Bellydance class in 2008. Enamoured with music, movement and camaraderie, he wanted to consume and experience all things bellydance! He had the honor to train in various styles, from world renowned instructors, and eventually became a contributing member to a number of group projects including: The Golden Ohm Dancers, and Uru Tribe, an all-male bellydance troupe comprised of a cast hailing from across North America, as well as a soloist, entertaining audiences around New Mexico alongside Sirena World Dance Studio & Companies, and up and down the California Coast.

I began drag back in 2015 as Sapphire Rico at 15 years old. Approximately a year ago I created Richard Rico Cox, and have since then won two titles. My goals for both of my titles is to empower my generation and future generation to become active in their community and do things they are passionate about. My favorite color is purple, and I love books and free food.
